Cost of living relief central focus of the 2023-24 budget

Relief from soaring power bills greater access to bulk billed GP visits and higher welfare payments. They're the key measures in the Albanese Government's cost of living package unveiled in last night's budget. But despite the billions spent many will miss out and there are concerns the spending will further stoke stubbornly high inflation leading to more interest rate hikes.
