County agencies, local legislators observe Fentanyl Awareness Day

Tuesday, May 9 is National Fentanyl Awareness Day. According to the Fentanyl Awareness Day advocacy group, the synthetic opioid is 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine. In Kern County, public health agencies, local legislators, and impacted families are working to combat the epidemic with knowledge. 23ABC's Dominique LaVigne has more.
