The process of allocating seats among the coalition parties of the unity government in the upcoming state elections is nearing completion, said Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Zahid, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister and Umno president, said on Saturday (May 6) night that the unity government sees the importance of the state elections because it represents the recognition of the current government.
