00:13 So today's look is inspired by the one and only Ariana Grande.
00:17 And this specific look is from her problem video, but she wears very similar makeup most
00:21 of the time.
00:22 So I hope you guys like this look and let's get into the makeup.
00:24 Starting off with a bare face, I'm using a new favorite of mine.
00:27 I was sent this primer from City Cosmetics and it says there are natural dirt and oil
00:32 destroying compounds to prevent enlarged or clogged pores.
00:36 And it also has all natural ingredients, so if you're interested in that, be sure to check
00:40 it out in the down bar.
00:42 And then for foundation, as always, I'm using CoverGirl Clean and I decided to mix in some
00:46 Benefit Hybeam to get Ariana's glowy, pretty skin.
00:51 I am blending the mixture into my skin with a Quo blending sponge and the sponge is damp
00:56 right now and I'm just stippling it all over my face.
01:02 Next I'm using Nars' Radiant Creamy Concealer and this is great for brightening up the skin
01:08 or just concealing pimples.
01:09 I would definitely recommend this concealer if you're looking for a good one.
01:13 And just apply this underneath your eyes, on your nose, chin, and forehead and blend
01:17 away to get a highlighted look like Ariana.
01:21 So as you can see, as I've blended in the concealer, it's really brightened up my face.
01:26 And after that, I'm using Tarte's Smooth Operator on those brightened up areas.
01:32 I definitely don't have the same skin tone as Ariana, so I'm just going to add some warmth
01:36 into my skin with a bronzer and I'm applying this on my temples, underneath my cheekbones,
01:42 underneath my jawline, as well as down my neck.
01:45 Here I'm using MAC's Coquette Shadow and I'm applying a little bit of this underneath my
01:49 cheekbone for a little bit of a deeper contour.
01:52 I did this in my Maleficent tutorial a little bit more dramatic, but here I'm just keeping
01:56 it really subtle to get a pretty cheekbone.
02:01 Really make sure to blend this contour out because this shadow is ashy looking, so you
02:05 definitely don't want to use too much or have it not blended out enough.
02:09 And I'm also adding a little bit of a contour on the tip of my nose to have a cute turned
02:14 up nose like Ariana.
02:17 Moving on to blush, I just wanted to use something subtle and add a little bit more color to
02:21 my face, so I'm using Melba by MAC and I'm just applying this to the apples of my cheeks
02:26 and really subtly blending this up to my temples.
02:29 Moving on to brows, I've already completed one brow.
02:31 As you can see, it's a lot fuller and shapes my face a lot better, so I'm using Anastasia
02:36 Brow Wiz.
02:37 I don't know if you say this Anastasia or Anastasia.
02:40 I like to say Anastasia, but whatever.
02:43 And I'm just applying a little bit underneath my natural brow to give it some shape and
02:48 then I'm filling it in subtly and I'm going to add some more volume to the top just to
02:53 make it have a more clean shape.
02:56 And Ariana's brows are pretty full and youthful looking, so that's what I'm doing, but my
03:00 brows do come out looking a little bit more full because they naturally are.
03:05 So yeah, I'm just kind of working with that and then combing out the shape with my spoolie
03:09 brush to make sure the lines don't look too harsh.
03:14 And there you have the brows, something defined but still natural looking.
03:18 And moving on to the lids, the first thing I'm going to do is prime my lids with Urban
03:22 Decay's Primer Potion in Eden, but you can use any primer you want before shadows.
03:27 The first shadow I'm going to use is Puppy by Stila and it's just a nice matte brown
03:32 color.
03:33 And with a big fluffy blending brush, I'm applying this into my crease with a windshield
03:38 wiper motion and down onto my lid for a sheer color and then I'm using a denser brush with
03:45 the same shade and applying a little bit more on my inner third of my eye as well as my
03:49 outer third for some more dimension.
04:00 Also run this same shadow underneath your lash line.
04:03 You can leave this look as a one-step shadow look or you can add a little bit of a deeper
04:07 brown just to give you a little bit more dimension.
04:10 So I'm using Quirk by MAC and then you can use either just a lighter shadow or just a
04:15 clean blending brush, but I'm adding a little bit of Yogurt by MAC, which is a very light
04:20 pink but it's so subtle and I'm just blending out the brown color so that it's extra soft.
04:32 Finally for the shadows, I'm just adding a little bit of Vanilla to my brow bone for
04:36 a subtle highlight.
04:40 Next I'm using my favorite eyeliner pencil.
04:42 This is Coffee from MAC and it's a really nice deep brown color and I'm just going to
04:46 create an angled eyeliner shape.
04:48 So with a really sharpened pencil, I'm going to create that small winged out line and then
04:53 draw the rest of the line as close as I can to my lash line, just dotting it into my lashes.
04:58 And Ariana looks like she was wearing a gel eyeliner, so I prefer pencil.
05:03 I think it's just easier to use and I don't have a really small brush to do gel eyeliner
05:08 with, so I'm just using what I have.
05:11 And once the line is complete, I am just rimming my tight line and my waterline so that my
05:16 eyes really stand out.
05:18 And it looked like her waterline and tightline were brown and her gel eyeliner was a black,
05:22 but I decided to just keep both in the brown to make it a little bit softer.
05:27 And as you can see, I kind of messed up the line as I was tightlining my eyes, so I just
05:31 took a clean q-tip and smudged this away so that I could redo the line.
05:37 And that's what I do to fix makeup, really nothing special.
05:40 But then I just redo the line and add a little bit of that puppy shadow over top.
05:44 And that's why I love this look, because it's one shadow, so if you mess up, it's so easy
05:48 to fix.
05:50 Next with Fantasizing Eye Kool from MAC, I am applying a little bit of this white eyeliner
05:54 underneath my bottom lash line about halfway.
05:58 And then I am going to blend this out either with my finger or I'm going to add some matte
06:03 light shadow underneath.
06:06 Or I decided to go back in with a shimmery shadow.
06:08 I don't think she had a shimmery shadow, I just like the look of this.
06:12 But you just want to keep that right underneath your eye really bright.
06:16 And yeah, this is just a little pop of shimmer.
06:20 Finally make sure you've curled your lashes for the flutteriest lashes you can get and
06:24 apply your favorite mascara.
06:26 I am using Lash Potion by Revlon today.
06:30 And I'm applying to my top and bottom lashes.
06:32 And this is what the eye makeup looks like without any false lashes.
06:36 But I am addicted to eyelashes.
06:39 Like it's really bad.
06:40 So I decided to add some crazy false lashes.
06:43 The Oh So Sweet lashes by the same company would look a lot more natural.
06:48 But I decided to try out this pair, so they are a little dramatic, but I think they look
06:51 amazing.
06:52 So this is the completed look.
06:56 Now for lips, I am using Tarte's Plummy Rose Lipstick.
06:59 This is my new favorite lipstick.
07:00 I love this one so much.
07:02 It feels really nice and creamy on your lips.
07:04 And I would say that this is a perfect everyday Ariana lipstick color.
07:09 It's very similar to what she wears.
07:11 I know she does wear a lip liner, but I don't have a lot of lip liners that match her lip
07:16 color, so I'm just going with the lipstick.
07:19 And yeah, once this is put on my lips, I decided for the video I needed a little bit more of
07:24 a metallic-y shimmer to it, so I added Cashmere from L'Oreal.
07:28 And this is like a really cool, nudey, pinky, champagne-y color.
07:34 And I really like it.
07:35 So that's going in the center of my lips.
07:37 And that's it for the look.
