Manipur Riots : Adivasi and Non Adivasi Clash due to a BJP Led govt decision

मणिपुर में बीते कई दिनों से आदिवासी बनाम गैर आदिवासी समुदायों के बीच झड़प का सिलसिला अब दंगों में तब्दील हो गया है। हालात इस कदर खराब हो गए है कि गांव के गांव जलाए जा रहे हैं और हजारों लोग पलायन को मजबूर हो गए हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि भाजपा नेतृत्व वाली मणिपुर सरकार ने आदिवासी अधिकारों में कटौती की तो विवाद पैदा हुआ। संरक्षित वन क्षेत्र में चर्च जलाए जाने की घटनाओं के बाद विवाद हिंसक होना शुरू हुआ। पिछले दिनों गुस्साए आदिवासियों ने मुख्यमंत्री की सभा के लिए बने मंच को आग के हवाले कर दिया और जमकर तोड़फोड़ की। हालांकि, भाजपा नेतृत्व इस वक्त पूरी तरह कर्नाटक चुनाव में व्यस्त है, जिसमें केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री से लेकर प्रधानमंत्री भी मैराथन सभाएं कर रहे हैं।

The series of clashes between tribal versus non-tribal communities in Manipur for the past several days has now turned into riots. The situation has become so bad that villages after villages are being burnt and thousands of people have been forced to flee. It is being told that the controversy arose when the BJP-led Manipur government curtailed tribal rights. The dispute began to turn violent following incidents of church burnings in protected forest areas. Recently, angry tribals set ablaze the stage built for the Chief Minister's meeting and ransacked it. However, the BJP leadership is currently busy with the Karnataka elections, with the Union Home Minister to the Prime Minister holding marathon meetings.
