00:02 Hey guys, welcome back.
00:18 So today I have a drugstore makeup tutorial for you guys.
00:21 Everything that I use will be listed down
00:22 in the description box below,
00:23 so you make sure you check that out.
00:25 The only thing that I did not use was for my eyebrows
00:28 and it was my brow wiz because I initially used
00:30 a brow kit from e.l.f. and it was so bad, you guys.
00:33 I honestly would not even recommend it to you guys
00:35 because my eyebrows came out horrible,
00:37 so I ended up just wiping my eyebrows off
00:40 and just going all over again with my brow wiz.
00:42 But you guys will see that throughout the entire video.
00:44 I hope you guys enjoy it.
00:46 If you love drugstore makeup
00:47 and you wanna see more drugstore makeup tutorials,
00:49 let me know in the comments below
00:50 by giving this video a thumbs up.
00:52 And without further ado, let's get started.
00:56 So I'm gonna start off by priming my face
00:58 and I'm just using a Miracle Blur by L'Oreal
01:01 and this is gonna blur out any imperfections
01:03 or any pores that I might have on my face
01:06 and I'm just gonna make sure that I spread it out evenly
01:08 throughout my entire face.
01:10 Now I'm gonna move on to foundation
01:12 and today I'm using a new foundation
01:14 that just hit the drugstore
01:15 and it's the Revlon Photo Ready Colorstay Foundation.
01:19 And I do really like it because it's not completely matte.
01:22 It has like a semi-matte finish.
01:24 It is full coverage and I really like the finish of it.
01:27 So I'm just gonna put it with my fingers all over my face
01:30 and then I'm taking this e.l.f. Complexion brush
01:33 and I'm just gonna distribute it throughout my entire face.
01:36 I honestly hate this brush, you guys.
01:39 Like I would not recommend it to apply foundation
01:42 just because it didn't really apply the foundation
01:45 as well as it would with another brush.
01:47 As you can tell, I was not really happy with it.
01:49 So I went ahead with my favorite brush of life.
01:53 It's the Real Techniques Buffing Brush
01:55 and I just applied it all over my face again
01:58 with this brush and it just gave me a really nice finish
02:01 as you can see.
02:01 I love the foundation and I am gonna continue to use it.
02:05 It is a great foundation for people with oily skin
02:07 or even normal skin.
02:09 Then I'm gonna go in with my favorite highlighting product
02:13 from the drugstore and this is the Maybelline Instant Age
02:16 Rewind in the shade Neutralizer.
02:19 And then I'm just gonna take a beauty blender
02:22 and I'm just going to dab that all in.
02:24 My beauty blender is damp.
02:26 It does really help if the beauty blender is damp
02:28 so I do recommend you do that
02:30 before you start spreading out your highlighter.
02:33 Then of course my favorite concealer of life
02:38 is my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in the shade Sand.
02:41 I really love this just because it hides
02:43 my under eye circles and it just highlights
02:46 under my eyes really nicely.
02:47 I do recommend it.
02:48 It's only like $5 and it's really worth it.
02:51 I've purchased it over 12 times in my entire life
02:55 because it's one of my favorite all time products.
02:57 Then I'm gonna go on and I'm just gonna put this
03:00 all over the dark spots that I might have on my face
03:03 and I'm just gonna take my beauty blender
03:05 and I'm just going to dab that in as well.
03:07 My lips were a little dry so I've been just applying this
03:13 on my lips and it's been helping a lot.
03:16 This little egg, I forgot what it's called
03:17 but it's really helping my lips.
03:19 Then I'm just gonna set my under eye concealer
03:21 and I'm using my Rimmel Stay Matte
03:23 in the shade Transparent.
03:25 I don't really get oily throughout the winter time.
03:28 That's the funny thing but I just wanted to set it
03:30 just to be on the safe side.
03:32 Then to contour my face I'm using a pencil from L'Oreal
03:36 and I'm just going to draw several lines
03:40 throughout my entire face and this pencil is awesome
03:43 you guys because it does really contour my face nicely
03:47 and it's a super affordable product.
03:49 I do recommend it.
03:50 I've used it a ton in the past
03:52 and I specifically use this on my nose
03:54 because I feel like it contours it really, really nicely.
03:57 And then I'm taking a round brush from Morphe.
04:00 Morphe has so many affordable brushes you guys.
04:03 I honestly would recommend them over Sigma
04:06 because one, they're so much more inexpensive
04:09 and two, they're really great quality
04:11 and the bristles when you wash them, they do not come off.
04:14 This is another Morphe brush
04:16 and I'm taking a Rimmel Stay Matte bronzing powder
04:19 and I'm just going to just contour my face
04:22 a little bit more in depth with this powder.
04:25 And I love this powder as well
04:26 just because it's completely matte,
04:28 doesn't have any shimmer at all
04:30 and it works perfectly on my skin tone.
04:32 And right now I'm a little bit lighter
04:34 so I do need a little bit more of color in my face
04:38 and this has been my go-to lately.
04:40 For blush I'm using this blush by Wet n Wild
04:43 and it is super pigmented as you can tell.
04:46 It is so pigmented you guys.
04:48 It's a great blush but if you find yourself
04:52 applying a little bit too much of blush,
04:54 what I recommend is taking your foundation brush,
04:57 don't worry about it, just take the brush
04:59 and just blend everything all in together
05:01 and it'll just blend in really nicely on your face
05:04 so you don't have to worry about that.
05:06 This is a new product for me.
05:07 It's a Maybelline Glaze Highlighter.
05:10 I really like it because it goes on really nice and smoothly
05:14 and it just blends in really nicely on my skin
05:16 and it does highlight.
05:17 It doesn't highlight as much as I like
05:20 'cause you know I love my highlighters
05:22 to be super duper bright but for an everyday basis,
05:25 this is great.
05:26 Oh my God you guys, I'm obsessed with this song
05:29 and this girl but anyways, back to the makeup.
05:31 I'm done with my face.
05:32 Now I'm gonna move on to my eyes
05:34 and I'm using the Nudes by Maybelline.
05:36 I'm going to take that vanilla light shade
05:39 and I'm just going to apply this as a base
05:41 all over my lids all the way up to my brows
05:44 with a just flat brush.
05:47 And then going in with this mauve-y
05:50 sort of rosy tone color and a blending brush,
05:53 I'm just gonna apply this to my crease.
05:55 For an everyday use,
05:56 I honestly don't do anything super dramatic
05:59 but if I wanna have my makeup done nicely,
06:02 I do this every single day
06:03 just because it gives me a nice look
06:05 but it doesn't look like I'm trying too hard.
06:07 So I just blend this all into my crease
06:10 and then I take my favorite eyeliner of a life
06:12 which is my NYC New York Color Eyeliner
06:15 and I just apply this all over my eyelids.
06:18 You guys know the deal.
06:19 I'm gonna just fast forward for you guys
06:21 because I do my eyeliner in like two seconds,
06:24 especially with this eyeliner.
06:26 I feel like the brush makes it so easy for you
06:28 to just apply it evenly on your lids.
06:31 Then I went ahead and take the black shadow
06:40 from the Maybelline Nudes palette.
06:42 This is not the best black eyeshadow that I have.
06:45 Obviously, I have better shades
06:47 but if you're going for a drugstore product,
06:49 it's actually a good product.
06:51 So what I did was I took an angled brush
06:53 and I took the black shade
06:55 and I just pretty much drew an angled line on my crease,
06:59 just on the outer part all the way to halfway
07:01 and then I took a Stifling Precise Blending Brush
07:06 and I just blended it all in nicely.
07:08 You wanna make sure,
07:09 this is actually gonna take a little while,
07:10 maybe like five minutes,
07:12 just because this black eyeshadow was super hard to blend
07:15 but once you get it all in, it's gonna look really nice
07:18 and if you wanna blend it in even more than what I did,
07:21 go ahead 'cause it's gonna look really nice on your eyelids,
07:24 especially for a nice daytime look.
07:28 Then taking that same shade that I used on my lid,
07:30 I'm going to apply it under my brow bone as a highlight
07:34 and for my waterline,
07:35 I'm just applying a black eyeliner
07:38 and this is by NYC as well
07:40 and if you feel like you messed up your eyeliner
07:42 a little bit, just pretty much take your finger
07:44 and dab it all in and then you'll be good to go.
07:47 For my inner corner, I wanted to highlight
07:49 so I took this really nice color from the Nudes Palette,
07:52 I'll list it down below
07:53 and I just applied it on the inner corners of my eyelids.
07:56 For mascara, I'm using a new one
08:00 and I was so excited to use it
08:02 and I'm actually really, really content with it
08:04 because it's actually really good, you guys.
08:07 My eyelashes were so long,
08:10 like the quality of this mascara
08:12 compares to probably my favorite
08:14 which is my L'Oreal Telescopic
08:16 except that it made them look super full and so voluminous.
08:20 So I'm really, really happy with this mascara,
08:22 I'll definitely keep you guys updated and continue using it.
08:25 Under my lower lashes, I applied the same color
08:28 that I initially applied on my crease,
08:30 just under my lower lashes
08:32 to smoke out the look a little bit more
08:34 and then I completed everything
08:36 by applying the mascara under my lower lashes.
08:40 This is the part where I told you guys
08:42 where I ruined my eyebrows.
08:45 This kit is horrible, I'm gonna trash it
08:48 and I'm gonna burn it
08:49 and I'm gonna make sure that I'm never gonna use it
08:50 ever again 'cause it looks so bad
08:52 and I feel like the product,
08:54 it just didn't distribute correctly on my brows
08:57 and the color was just way off
08:59 and it just didn't really look nice
09:01 so it took me a while to figure it out
09:03 but I was like, no, this is not happening,
09:06 I have to take this off.
09:07 So I took my makeup remover and a pad
09:10 and just pretty much just took it off
09:12 and took my brow wiz in the color granite
09:15 and then I just pretty much drew in my eyebrows.
09:18 I feel like this is the only product
09:19 that I'm so in love with that makes my eyebrows
09:22 look really nicely and natural
09:24 and just like I can wear it every single day,
09:27 nothing too dramatic.
09:29 For my lips, this lip liner is gorgeous.
09:33 If you're looking for MAC Soar
09:35 but you don't wanna spend the $19,
09:37 this is a great dupe by NYX Cosmetics
09:40 and it only costs like $5 at the drugstore.
09:43 Then I'm gonna top it off with my favorite of life,
09:46 my NYX Matte Lip Cream
09:49 'cause you guys know that I'm obsessed with them
09:51 and then I'm gonna take my e.l.f. Setting Spray
09:53 and I'm just gonna top everything off
09:54 and just spray it and just be good to go.
09:57 This is the final look.
09:58 I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
10:00 If you did, make sure to give it a big thumbs up.
10:02 I'll see you guys in my next video
10:04 and thank you so much for watching.
10:06 Bye bye.
