Trade, local officials inspect vape shop

Trade Undersecretary Ruth Castelo; lawyer Phillip Sawali of the DTI-Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau; and Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian on Thursday, May 4, 2023, inspect a vape shop to check its compliance with the Republic Act 11900 or the ‘The Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act.’ The law mandates that the packaging of vape juices showing fruity flavors and animated graphics that can entice the youth to use the products are prohibited.
