Bhiwandi Building Collapse: Death Toll Rises To Eight; CM Eknath Shinde Announces Compensation

At least eight people lost their lives after a building collapsed in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra’s Thane district on April 30. A three-storey building collapsed on April 29 afternoon. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) said that four teams were working on the site of the incident. On April 30, NDRF Commander Deepak Tiwari said that a total of 10 people have been rescued in the operation, reported ANI. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the Indira Gandhi Hospital and met people injured in the hospital. Watch the video to know more.
