The Tragedy Of War - Poetry From The Heart

  • last year
The poetry in this video reminds us of how terrible and heartbreaking war can be.

"The Tragedy of War" is a poem that speaks about the lasting effects of war on the human mind, especially on those who survived. The poem expresses the idea that the tragedy of war does not end with those who died in the conflict but continues to affect those who were lucky enough to survive.

This poem is written from the perspective of a soldier who is expressing regret for not being able to return home to their loved one. The soldier acknowledges the pain that their absence will cause but also recognizes the importance of their duty to protect their country.

The poems in this video are narrated by Shane Morris (an award winning voice actor). We took care to edit the audio as perfectly as we could.

The video was created by Adian. This is a very iterative process and we test out a lot different footage to give you the best viewing experience. We try not to distract from the poem itself.
