Gujarat: Surat police busts fake currency racket

Surat police successfully busted a fake currency racket on April 25. Police have arrested four persons who were a part of the racket and have recovered different materials and equipment which were used to print fake notes.

While addressing a press conference, Ajay Kumar Tomar, SP, Surat, said, “Surat city police has busted a racket running fake currency. Police have arrested a person with fake notes of 17 lakhs. Surat City Police has so far arrested 4 people in this scam. The accused has spread this black business network in different states of the country. Our team will unearth the whole conspiracy.”
