Alia Bhatt Co-Actress & Sadak 2 Fame Chrisann Pereira gets arrested in UAE for Drugs Smuggling. Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch arrested two people on Monday on charges of planting drugs on actor Chrisann Pereira, which led to her arrest in Sharjah over three weeks back. Chrisann, who was part of movies like Sadak 2 and Batla House, has been languishing in a Sharjah jail since April 1, after drugs were found in a trophy she was carrying with her from India. Chrisann was drawn into an elaborate plan to implicate her as straight out of a Bollywood thriller. The chain of events started with a tiff that Chrisann’s mother Premila had with the sister of one of those arrested, Anthony Paul.
