Here is famed French Operatic Tenor Albert Vaguet, Singing Le Petit Siffleur and featured on a Center Start, 90 RPM, Pathe Disque from about 1906. The Phonograph is Bulge Sided Sonora Elite with an optional carved wood Tone Arm. This particular version had two reproducer heads, one for Vertical Groove Pathe Records, and Another to play the more common Lateral Groove 78rpm Records.

Albert Vaguet lived from 1865 to 1943. He was a French tenor.

Vaguet was born in Elbeuf (Seine-Maritime).

He was known for playing Charles Gounod's Faust, a part he held more than 300 times.

He also had roles in Das Rheingold, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Gwendoline (by Emmanuel Chabrier), Thaïs (by Jules Massenet), and Verdi's Otello.

In 1894 he married Albertine Marie Chrétien, better known by her stage name Alba Chrétien, born in Paris 1872. They settled in Nay, near Pau, in 1906.

Albert Vaguet made many recordings for Pathé.
