Red lady Papayas - PART 2 _ Golden Papayas for creamy Papaya boat & Pineapple drink _ Rural Me

  • last year
Our Brother has been pestering me to make something sweet out of the papayas ever since I kept them to get them to ripen. He was complaining about the papayas for days and he was actually freaking me out by telling me that the papayas needed to ripen first before I could make anything. Although I was ignoring his regular complaints, my mind began asking me to use these magnificent papayas when I noticed that they had become so ripe and had turned a golden yellow colour.

Finally, I made a dessert with papayas and already ripe avocados that I had on hand. Because of the avocados, combining moss jelly with condensed milk gave the dessert an extremely rich and buttery flavour. This dessert can be served as the boat with couple of dessert cups or also as the slices which are more easy to eat and more appealing to eyes to reveal the design inside. Brother also brought papaya juice that he had prepared. His drink was delicious, with pineapple chunks and mandarin juice mixed in with a zesty flavour. When biting into the pineapple bits, it was a wonderful treat and a delicious thirst quencher.

Despite having cooked lunch early, I had my Brother pluck a raw papaya from a papaya tree in the garden to create a raw papaya stir-fry after Grandmother expressed a wish to have a raw papaya stir-fry. When biting into little pieces, this raw papaya dish is one of our family favourites because it is made with the necessary spices and ground coconut. In fact, we all love and appreciate it when I cook our daily meals nice and nutritious by utilising our own garden crops since I believe they are very safe, nutritious, and tasty too.
