Security has been beefed up in Kanpur Dehat area after a statue of Hanuman was allegedly vandalized on Saturday. Heavy police force can be seen deployed in the area. While talking to the media, Kanpur Dehat ASP Rajesh Pandey said, “Some part of the statue of Hanuman ji installed in the Shiva temple built in the Shukla Talab complex near Akbarpur police station has been damaged. The forensic team has investigated. Action will be taken against the culprits by registering charges in the case.”
