Not many combat sports athletes have a day named after them in their hometown — but Robert Trujillo ain’t your average combat sports athlete! April 24th is “Robert Trujillo Day” in Raton, New Mexico — which city officials were proud to dedicate to “The Real Deal” due to his success in MMA and the way he represents the community. FYI, Trujillo is undefeated as a pro MMA fighter (5-0) and won several championships as an amateur. He’s also trained with some of the best fighters in the world — including Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, Justin Gaethje, Brandon Moreno and more . Now, Robert says his speed, precision, mental toughness and raw power will set him apart in Power Slap. “I’m personally excited to step into the arena for Power Slap! I get to slap someone and get slapped?! it’s gonna be fun!”
