Female boxing referee punched in face by YouTube star as she steps in between fighters

A YouTube star accidentally punched a female referee in the face while she stood in to end his fight as he took a barrage of heavy punches on his boxing debut this weekend.
A female referee was punched in the face while stopping a YouTube bout on Saturday with a disorientated fighter swinging after the bout was called off.
Chris Ray Gun, real name Christopher Raymond Maldonado, was knocked down before being rocked by a barrage of punches in his bout against William Haynes after Froggy Fresh was withdrawn.
With Haynes making his height advantage count with a series of accurate jabs, the female official saw enough before stepping between the brawlers - and being punched in the head for her trouble.
Thankfully, the punch was not a particularly powerful one with the referee left unharmed, with the rest of the Creator Clash 2 card going ahead as planned.
A third comment that questioned the stoppage read: "She waits for the little guy to start punching back before separating them? Am I seeing this right?"
Elsewhere on the card, Alex Wassabi beat iDubbbz in the main event with former WWE star John Morrison stopping Harley Morenstein in a heavyweight contest.
There were also victories for Haley Sharpe, Dad, and Jaelaray among others, with the event taking place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Following the main event, an emotional Wassabi said: "That was the fight I wanted. I took a few bumps, he took a few bumps. But we came out and gave you a show and raised some f**king money for charity."
With an emotional IDubbbz saying: "I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea but I do appreciate everyone and thank you for coming."
