This awe-inducing footage was recorded at a spot in Mexico where a person is allowed to pet the friendly, curious, and playful gray whales that approach them.
"It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience," the filmer, Marina Ustinov revealed to WooGlobe.
While it's true that the colossal mammals could intimidate people, especially those who have never interacted with them before, one would be lying if they said gaining a whale's trust is anything less than surreal.
