Ahead of the 2024 General Elections, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on April 12 met with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi in a bid to forge a common front against the BJP. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on April 12 said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is enough to take on Opposition parties. “I don’t think Ajit Pawar will join BJP, but if he does then he is welcome. If opposition parties want to come together, they can. PM Modi alone is enough to take on all of them. NDA is really strong under the leadership of PM Modi,” he added.
