Dalai Lama has apologised. The apology comes after a video of him kissing a child on the lips and asking him to suck his tongue, went viral. The Dalai Lama apologised to the boy and his family. In the statement, the top Buddhist spiritual leader’s team said, “His Holiness wishes to apologise to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.” “His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident,” the statement further said. The video shows the Dalai Lama kissing the boy on the lips. Then, he sticks out his tongue and says, \"Can you suck my tongue?\" Many Twitter users called it ‘disgusting’.
