He was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. Jordan played college basketball at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the 1982 NCAA championship team.Jordan is best known for his 15-year career with the Chicago Bulls, during which he won six NBA championships and five NBA MVP awards. He also played two seasons with the Washington Wizards before retiring for good in 2003.Throughout his career, Jordan was known for his incredible athleticism, scoring ability, and competitiveness. He was a 14-time NBA All-Star, and he won the NBA scoring title ten times.
