चिकनपॉक्स (Chickenpox), जिसे आप और हममें से ज्यादातर लोग 'माता' के नाम से जानते हैं एक बेहद ही तेजी से फैलने वाला वायरल संक्रमण है, जिससे न सिर्फ भारत बल्कि दुनिया भर के लोग परेशान होते हैं। हम में से ज्यादा लोग इस बात को नहीं जानते होंगे कि चिकनपॉक्स हवा में फैलने वाला रोग है, जिसकी वजह से पूरे शरीर में खुजली और लाल-लाल धब्बे हो जाते हैं। आमतौर पर बच्चों पर चिकनपॉक्स का हमला हल्का पाया जाता है लेकिन व्यस्कों की इम्यूनिटी कमजोर होती उनमें इस रोग का प्रभाव काफी गंभीर हो सकता है।
