Joe Biden has refused to comment on the indictment of Donald Trump in a probe over hush money paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Mr Trump became the first former US president to face criminal charges after being indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on Thursday, 30 March.

"I'm not gonna talk about Trump's indictment," the president told reporters on Friday.

Mr Trump's attorney, Joe Tacopina, has said that there is “zero chance” the former president will take a plea deal in the criminal case.
