Maria shares her story of Resilience through being the daughter of the incarcerated, trying to escape by leaving for Beverly Hills, then being surprised to find her voice with Get on the Bus, a non-profit dedicated to uniting children with their incarcerated parents. Maria has since worked on both coasts for nonprofit organizations that give to marginalized members of society.
