Jupiter has a lot of moons, between 80 and 95 of them, but now experts say its 4 largest likely have a tumultuous relationship with the planet they orbit. Io, Europa Ganymede and Callisto are Jupiter’s Galilean moons which likely formed in the planet’s infancy. Now researchers say that the further the moon is from Jupiter, the lower its density and water content seems to be.
