Members of the Malaysian Climate Governance Council (CGM), Gary William Theseira, have called on Malaysia to lift its ban on selling renewable energy (RE) to its neighbors, citing its huge potential as an export commodity. Theseira emphasized that Singapore would be a ready customer for Malaysia's RE, and that the export ban represents a missed opportunity for Malaysia.
