Three arrested with over 140 grams of heroin in Byrnihat

Meghalaya police recovered over 140 grams of heroin and arrested 3 drug peddlers following checking in Byrnihat on Sunday evening.
In response to a tipoff about the transportation of narcotic drugs from Assam to Shillong, a Naka was established near the Byrnihat police outpost, and vehicle checks were conducted. On March 26th, at around 7:00 PM, a Maruti Alto 800 with the licence plate number ML05M-7648 was intercepted during a search, and fourteen soap boxes were discovered concealed under the vehicle’s seat
