MMDA to implement assigned lanes along Commonwealth Ave. | New Day

After an extended dry run, the MMDA implements the exclusive motorcycle lane along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
Beginning today, authorities will apprehend drivers of four-wheeled vehicles using the motorcycle lane as well as motorcycle riders found outside the exclusive lane. There will be a 500 peso fine for private vehicles and motorcycles. Over one thousand pesos for public utility vehicles.
From Doña Carmen up to Elliptical road and vice versa the motorcycle lane is the third lane from the sidewalk. The MMDA earlier said, it might designate motorcycle lanes on other highways once this prove to be a success.
