OLIVER ALMADRO: I DIDN'T EXPECT TO MAKE THE FINALS WITH PETRO GAZZ RIGHT AWAY

Petro Gazz head coach Oliver Almadro got emotional after his Angels defeated the PLDT High Speed Hiiters, 25-17, 25-23, 25-15, in Game Three of their best-of-3 semifinal series on March 23 in the 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Fighting off tears, Almadro, who coached Choco Mucho for three years, said he didn't expect to make the Finals with Petro Gazz in his first conference with the team.

With their 2-1 semis win over the High Speed Hiiters, Almadro and the Angels will battle the defending champs Cool Smashers in the Finals . Game One of the Big Dance is on March 26 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
