A key scientific report guiding the world on avoiding catastrophic climate change, has warned global temperatures are likely to pass 1.5 Degrees above pre-industrial levels, within the next decade. In response, the United Nations has called on countries to speed up their emission reductions plans to try and slow down the warming.
