What is Piety (Taqwa) ?

The name of preventing the self from sin and wrong is piety, so whoever wants to get piety, should not follow the requirements of immorality, corruption, and sin, then he will automatically become pious. The more piety there is in his life, the more dignified he will be. Righteousness and piety are very important in human life, that's why piety has been mentioned in the Qur'an and Hadith. In one place it is a teaching to adopt it, then in another place, it is an urging to apply it.
