Digvijaya Singh turns blame on PM over London speech row

Backing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi amid the London speech row, party leader Digvijaya Singh on March 18 in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri turned the blame on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of making remarks against the Government in foreign countries during the Congress’s regime.
Attacking the Modi-led BJP Government over the Adani row, the Congress leader also alleged BJP of making issue over Rahul Gandhi to avoid creating a Joint Parliamentary Committee over the Adani issue. “No work is being done in the Parliament. Opposition wants a Joint Parliamentary Committee over the Adani row and a probe should be on the same. BJP says that Rahul Gandhi made derogatory remarks over India’s democracy. But BJP just wants to avoid JPC. Many Opposition leaders spoke against Indian Government during Congress’ regime. PM Modi also spoke against Congress in foreign countries during Congress’s rule,” Singh said.
