The Lee Riders were formed in Woodstock, NY, in 1970. The bands line up was formed of Florida born singer/songwriter Robert Lee and a bunch of like-minded sounthern musicians .The Lee Riders sole release was recorded in London in 1971, and combines country rock with much heavier Sounthern rock, in a mix of Lynyrd Skynyrd-Poco-Allman Brothers-Flying Burritos and Byrds styled tracks.
