Sixty-one-year-old Diosebia Telesforo, a resident of Baranggay Dampalit, Malabon City fills up her family’s basin with water on Wednesday, in preparation for the water service interruption that will occur on the evening of March 15 in Malabon and Navotas City due to the installation of a blow-off valve on the primary pipeline at the foot of Lambingan Bridge.

Among the affected Barangays that will have no water come 10 in the evening are Barangays Acacia, Baritan, Bayan-bayanan, Catmon, Concepcion, Dampalit, Flores, Hulong Duhat, Ibaba, Muzon, Niugan, Potrero, San Agustin, Tanong, Tinajeros, and Tonsuya in Malabon City and Barangays Bagumbayan North and South, Daanghari, Navotas East and West, San Jose, San Roque, Sipac-Almacen, Tangos, and Tanza in Navotas City.
