The City of Phoenix now has the go-ahead to enforce its new law banning landlords and sellers from discriminating against renters and buyers for their source of income. This would include those on Section 8 housing, social security or any other fixed-income programs. The city council passed the ordinance on March 1, however, it couldn’t go into effect for several reasons.
