'No need to Apologise', says Jairam Ramesh on Rahul Gandhi’s ‘democracy’ remarks in London
  • last year
Congress Leader Jairam Ramesh on March 12 said there is no need for Rahul Gandhi to apologise for the remarks he made in London. Speaking to ANI, Ramesh said, “What has Mr Rahul Gandhi said? He has not said anything abroad that he hasn't said here. So this ‘Maafi Maango’ slogan is completely bogus and meaningless. There is no need for Maafi mango.” Ramesh insisted that the BJP was seeking to divert attention from the Adani stock manipulation issue.
