Thailand's popular tourist destination Chiang Mai is shrouded in a harmful haze. The air quality is at a "very unhealthy" level according to the Air Quality and Noise Management Bureau of Thailand’s Pollution Control Department. By March 10 afternoon, the northern city was ranked the second-most polluted city in the world by monitoring firm IQAir.
