How to Make an All-Butter Pie Shell

In this video, we show you how to make an all-butter pie shell - which will add great texture and taste to your pie. This recipe requires egg yolk, granulated sugar, cold milk, kosher salt, all-purpose flour, and cold unsalted butter. After beating and incorporating all of the ingredients together in a mixer, shape and mold the dough into a disk before refrigerating for 1 hour. Next, after rolling the disk into a circle, place into a pie dish before trimming the edges and refrigerating again for 30 minutes. Finally, after lining the inside with parchment paper, place pie weights inside and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Watch the video to see every step of the process.
