Plus size dancer and choreographer Erik Cavanaugh proves that dancers come in all sizes. 29-year-old Erik has been dancing seriously since 2010 and has received worldwide fame as a ballet dancer on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent. Just a few months ago he was a part of Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas on NBC. He danced alongside Dolly and Jimmy Fallon. He was also on Season 2 of “P-Valley” on Starz. Erik says that he’s attempting to change the mind and shape of dancers, no matter what the haters say. He says people judged him based upon his looks and that “fuels his fire.” Recently, Erik has been teaching contemporary dance classes at Elite Dance Center, the Annex, in Woodland Hills, California. Erik has been celebrated by celebrities such as Fergie, Ashton Kutcher, and Todrick Hall. The world is praising him for his incredible talent and his noble mission to break down body image stereotypes, one dance at a time.
