e Ministry Of Energy Is Targeting 100 Percent Access To Modern Cooking For The Whole Country In The Next Year Away From Use Of Firewood And Fossil Energy.This Will Be Achieved Through The Integrated National Energy Planning (Inep) Which Will Link The Energy Planning Processes Between The County And National Governments.This Came As It Emerged That The On-Going Drought Had Affected Major Sources Of Energy Like Hydro As Affected Communities Went For Firewood And Fossil Sources Of Energy.According To The Secretary Of Administration In The Ministry, Wycliffe Ogallo, The Integrated Energy Planning Main Objective Was In Guiding Developments In The Energy Sector.He Said That The Government Was Keen To Achieve 100 Parent Electricity Accesses By 2030 As Part Of Addressing The Current Energy Crisis In The Country.
