Meghalaya BJP State Chief Ernest Mawrie commented on the Exit Polls of the Meghalaya Assembly Election. While speaking to ANI on February 2, he said, “We can’t say anything now but without BJP no one can form the government in Meghalaya. If we come in double-digit then we will form the government with like-minded party which supports BJP’s agenda of Zero tolerance against corruption. BJP is looking forward to bringing peace and development in Meghalaya.”
When asked about the like-minded parties in Meghalaya, he replied with the names of Regional Parties like UDP, HSPDP and PDF. He also mentioned that BJP will get double the number of seats in these elections as compared to the 2018 Assembly Elections.
