When Emily Mowery breaks it to her daughter, Harper, that she is getting her own kitty, the latter is left speechless.
She tears up at the sight of her new bestie and is so lost in emotion that she forgets to hold it in her arms at first.
"Harper had been asking for a cat for years," Emily told WooGlobe. "Our good friends had a litter, so we set up the surprise. She thought we were picking up papers. Saying she was surprised would be an understatement."
