DOJ Plans suit to Block Adobe's $20B Figma Deal
  • last year
The U.S. Department of Justice is reportedly working on a lawsuit to prevent Adobe ($ADBE@US) from buying its competitor and design web application developer Figma. The deal would help Adobe ignite fast growth in its portfolio and gain technology that could enhance existing programs in the Creative Cloud bundle. If the acquisition were to go through, Adobe would eliminate a potential competitor, cementing its dominance in design software. An Adobe spokesperson said that acquiring Figma will add significant value to consumers.
