WATCH: In time of the 25th anniversary of the enactment of Republic Act 8550, The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998, activist and fisherfolk united under the Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (PAMALAKAYA) troop at the office of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Quezon City on February 23, 2023, to demand the junking of the oppressive and anti-fisherfolk law as well as to express strong opposition against destructive dredging activities in the Southern part of Manila Bay.
