A Sydney inquiry has been told of a secret police strike force which re-investigated the deaths of three gay men in the 1980's and disregarded coronial findings, but never made its results public. The inquiry is examining dozens of deaths in New South Wales, suspected of being the result of hate attacks, between 1970 and 2010.
