My Interrogation Analysis Of Shana Hubers
On October 12, 2012, Shayna Hubers shot and killed her boyfriend, Ryan Carter In Highland Heights, Kentucky. She immediately called 911 and told them what happened claiming she had killed him in self defense. The couple had met on Facebook through mutual friends and dated on and off for about 18 months. To say Shayna was obsessed with Ryan would be an understatement. The problem was, Ryan had trouble hurting her feelings and letting her go.
Ryan finally gathered enough courage to separate with Shayna. After their break up, He had scheduled a date with Miss Ohio of 2012, Audrey Bolte. On the night of the date, Shayna knocked on Ryan's door. Her goal was to win him back and when that didn't work, she shot and killed him.
Ryan had been shot six times including in his face. When asked why she shot him so many times, Shayna said...“Because he was twitching and I knew he was going to die anyway—and he was making funny noises—I shot him a couple more times,” “He was twitching so bad, and I didn’t want to watch him lay there and twitch.”
Prosecutors say Shayna killed Ryan because he was leaving her. Shayna claims Ryan pressured her to perform sex acts and was abusive. She said her inability to orgasm with Ryan was a sticking point in the relationship. Prosecutors went through lengthy sets of text messages between Shayna and Ryan and their friends to show he was not abusive. Also, the crime scene showed no signs of domestic violence.
