ARLINGTON, TEXAS — It was the first game of the 2023 XFL season and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The Arlington Renegades took on a tough Vegas Vipers team. Owner Dwayne Johnson was in attendance for this matchup which had the fans feeling extremely pumped.

The Arlington Renegades got off to a slow start but came out of the locker room at half time a completely different team. The Renegade defense is what allowed them to have success during this game. They registered 2 pic 6’s along with a fumble to allow them to take the lead after trailing by 11.

Head Coach Bob Stoops was never discouraged by his team’s performance in that opening 30 minutes. He knew the team had made some mistakes but he also knew that they knew how to fix them. He was definitely right about that as they went on to win 22-20.

They will be back at it this upcoming weekend when they travel to Houston to take on the Roughnecks.
