Fox News reports that the derailment occurred in the
Van Buren Township outside of Detroit, Michigan.

the cause of the derailment, remains unclear.
According to officials, at least six cars
were derailed. One of them
contained hazardous materials.
Fox 2 Detroit reports that police said there
were no injuries from the incident and the
area does not represent a hazmat situation.
The news comes less than two weeks
after a train carrying toxic chemicals
derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. .
Police have reportedly closed roads in
the Detroit area while an investigation
of the most recent accident is ongoing.

of any hazardous materials, the car carrying
hazardous material has been put upright
and is being removed from the area of
