US President Joe Biden said on Thursday that he expected to speak with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping about what the United States had earlier said a Chinese spy balloon that a US fighter jet shot down early this month after it transited the United States. Biden added that they had found no link between the downed objects and China’s spying programme.
