A woman who spent an hour getting glam for the slopes - and two weeks planning outfits - says she "doesn't care" if she's cold as long as she "looks cute".

Sophie Hawkins, 33, went all out for a day skiing - by curling her hair, putting on a full face of make-up and donning a stylish suit each day.

Despite her husband saying he was "mortified" at the effort she'd gone to, Sophie loved glamming up for each day of the holiday in Morzine, France.

She wore a £160 pink all-in-one suit and a £140 black version and always had a fluffy hairband handy to add to her outfit when she stopped on the slopes for a drink - as well as a £30 pair of moonboots.

Sophie admits she spent two weeks prior to the holiday planning the looks and does the same for any trip she goes on - spending £330 on her ski outfits.

Sophie, an online make-up coach, from Barry, Wales, said: "Just because it’s a ski holiday, I still wanted to look fab.

"I didn’t care if it was cold I wanted to look cute.

"I plan an outfit every day for a holiday and spend about two weeks planning.

"My husband said 'it’s not a fashion show' but I said back 'it is'.

"He was mortified.

"It’s all about the glam."

Stylish Sophie is obsessed with fashion so knew she wanted to find some cute outfits for her skiing holiday.

She said: "I found the pink and black suit on ASOS.

"I bought a North Face one for £580 but sent it back because it wasn’t stylish enough for me."

Each morning, Sophie took 40 minutes to an hour prepping for her day out on the slopes.

She said: "I think two days I curled my hair and on the other days I straightened it.

|Then I’d do my skin care routine every morning before putting on my make-up.

"Then I’d get into the suit."

Sophie says her make-up and hair stayed put all day but she had a hairband ready to hide her 'helmet hair' at lunch.

She said: "My hair and make-up wouldn’t move.

"When I got off the slopes I had a hairband to hide the hair stuck to my head.

"I had a furry headband that I had popped a Chanel broach on."

Sophie admits she isn’t always as glam – loving to spend time in loungewear when working from home.

She said: "I’m behind a laptop most of the time.

"It was lush to get glam."
