Twenty-something Denim (Zachary Booth) is looking for a fresh start when he moves to Seattle. Upon arriving he meets a sweet girl named Meghan (Nicole Gale Anderson) looking for a relationship and a struggling, gay singer-songwriter, Nikki (Zelda Williams) getting over a broken heart. Like life, his choices are complicated as he falls in love with Nikki as their friendship, blossoms and ultimately redefines their understanding of sexuality, modern relationships and life itself. The film co-stars Angela Sarafyan and features original music by Nora Kirpatrick (of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros).

Das Leben der 17-jährigen Autumn verläuft so normal wie unspektakulär. Auf dem Land in Pennsylvania geht sie ihrer Arbeit in einem Supermarkt nach und führt ein bescheidenes Leben. Das ändert sich jedoch schlagartig, als sie bemerkt, dass sie ungewollt schwanger ist. Auf die Hilfe ihrer Eltern kann sie allerdings nicht bauen. Kurzerhand reist ihre Cousine Skyler mit ihr nach New York. Dort angekommen, wollen die beiden eine Klinik aufsuchen, die bei Autumn die Abtreibung vornehmen soll.
